The Unspoken Letter To Aimi Ihsan

Assalamualaikum wbt.

Bismillahirahmanirahim

O Allah, I bear witness that there is no God but You, and You alone is worthy of worship. And I bear witness that Prophet Muhammad saw is the messenger of Allah.

Ya Allah,
Make an ease of every path that Aimi will take. Guide her Ya Allah, Be closed to her and instilled inside of her heart the love towards You and Rasulullah more than anything else and more to what this dunya can offer. Bless her with happiness although in the time of hardship. Make her stand in this deen stronger, thus she will keep remembering You in the time of ease.

Ya Allah,
Guide her and love her. Reward her with every goodness in this world and hereafter. Bless herself Ya Allah, shower her with wisdom, and choose her Ya Allah make Islam stronger with her presence and make her stronger because of Islam.

Amin.

Dear Aimi Ihsan,

May this letter reach you in the time that you most need it. I may not be around when you bear the sadness of failure in your exam result. But my pray will always be with you. For the most part, do always remember that Allah is more closer to you than anyone else, and He is closest to you than your jugular vein.

When I came accross your post, I completely understand what you had been felt. I don't know what more I can do to help you, perhaps my very hope that this letter will spread some strength that I have to you as a friend in Islam.

Do always remember to what Ain oftenly said to us during usrah:
"May our sadness is only for Allah, and may our happiness also is only for Allah"
"Nothing is more sad than loosing the Prophet saw and nothing is more happy than having him saw as our Prophet."

1) Say to yourself quitely innalillahi wa inna ilahi raji'un

Allah mentioned in Surah Al-Baqarah: 155-156
"Dan Kami pasti akan menguji kamu dengan sedikit ketakutan, kelaparan, kekurangan harta, jiwa, dan buah-buahan. Dan sampaikanlah kabar gembira kepada orang-orang yang sabar. Yaitu orang-orang yang apabila ditimpa musibah mereka berkata innalillahi wa inna ilahi raji'un (sesungguhnya kami milik Allah dan kepadaNya lah kami kembali)"

2) Perform 2 rakaah prayer and make a supplication to Allah. If you can wake up for qiyamullail today then, that will be better. Talk to Allah what was within your heart. In fact, Allah already knows without us telling Him. But, by telling Him we really want Him to know how much that we want to be with Him on this time.

3) Make Sadaqah and Infaq. So it will purify your heart. As for me it is a symbol of strength. The more you being tested the more you want to sacrifice. Remember what Ain told us again: "Sacrifice is when you are affected by it". May Allah grant you peace and calmness of every sacrifice that you made.

Allah mentioned in Surah Ar-Rad: 22

Aimi,

Failure is an episode of life. We may stumble onto it several times. But never be afraid to move yourself forward. Don't allow yourself to be in sadness at such a long time, thus it may affects your relationship towards Allah. Wake up and ask Allah guidance to what more you can do to become better from what you are right now.

Allah mentioned in Surah Al-Imran: 138-139

"Inilah Al-Quran suatu keterangan yang jelas untuk semua manusia, dan menjadi petunjuk serta pelajaran bagi orang-orang yang bertakwa. Dan janganlah kamu merasa lemah dan jangan pula bersedih hati, sebab kamu paling tinggi darjatnya jika kamu orang beriman".

4) Wake up and begin your study for final examination right now. You may include another extra session in our mutabaah amal which is 2 hours study/day and 1 hour for thesis writing/day. May this become your wise preparation to face hectic week of thesis submission and final examination. (Aimi, this is just an idea: you may take it or you may want to consider it =))

Life is a struggle. No matter how many failure that we had stumble upon, remember that we have Allah. The One that we can rely on every time. Never ever feel give up. For the sake of Allah, for the love that we have towards Him and the Prophet saw, we have to move on. This ummah need us.

Jazakillahu Khairan Kathira
