A brief introductory on Silk Route designs:

"Silk Route is excited and ready to make a big impact on the world of Islamic fashion and modest wear in 2012. Our long term vision and dedication to innovative products, designs, quality and value for money means that 2012 is the year we want to have Silk Route mentioned in every major city in the Islamic World.

We have worked closely with Muslim Entrepreneurs in Malaysia, South Africa, Uganda, Nigeria, and Russia and more recently in North Africa to open up new markets in 2011. In 2012 we will continue this hard work and seek out enthusiastic entrepreneurs to join our success story in order for us to better understand the need of today’s Muslimah and to make sure that every single one of our designs is a ‘Super Hit’ wherever it is sold.

2012 will be exciting on many fronts for the Silk Route brand as we have recruited the best Muslim fashion designers from around the world via the Silk Route StyleIn! 2011 competition. StyleIn! 2011 was a creative platform for Fashion designers to design for the Muslim Market and we had over 2000 entrants from 50+ countries.

We have shortlisted a handful of designers which we will use on a freelance basis and they will bring their fashion tastes and trends from countries such as Mexico, USA, Canada, Colombia, Morocco, Egypt, Russia, UK, France, Malaysia, Indonesia and the list goes on. The Silk Route team never rests when it comes to pushing the boundaries and pioneering in creativity so join us on what is set to be a super year for this brand."
